Neuanfang – mal wieder! A fresh start – again!

Liebe Mitreisende, mitten im Chaos des letzten Jahres entschied ich mich für einen ganz neuen Versuch, mehr Sinn in mein Leben zurück zu bringen. Ich bewarb mich in England bei einer Firma, deren Zweck der Existenz gut zu meinem passt und deren Produktherstellung möglicherweise meine Qualitäten und Fähigkeiten so zu nutzen weiß,  dass wir gemeinsam diesem Zweck der Existenz ein Stück näher kommen.

Seit 31.12.2021 bin ich nun an diesem neuen Platz. Er ist in einem kleinen Nest in Lincolnshire in den Licolnshire Wolds – einer unglaublich schönen und lieblichen Landschaft. Hier kreuzen  Fasane, Hasen und Füchse deinen Weg, die Straßen werden von Weißdornhecken begleitet und das Klima erscheint mild, auch wenn es kalt und windig sein kann.

Es ist ein wunderbarer Platz, um etwas Neues auzuprobieren und sich auf ein anderes Volk mit einer anderen Mentalität und auf neue Menschen einzulassen, deren Sprache ich wirklich nur in Ansätzen beherrsche.              ( Natürlich sagt mir das hier keiner. Zu höflich sind sie, die Engländer, deswegen spreche ich ihrer Meinung nach fantastisch – jedenfalls fantastischer als sie Deutsch!)

Und wie das so ist, bin ich durch die sprachliche Barriere auf eine Art halbblind und stolpere täglich über Hürden, die ich erst nach der Kollision bemerke und noch viel später verstehe – wenn überhaupt. Hier mahlen die Mühlen anders als in Deutschland und auch viel langsamer. In diesem Blog unter „It’s organic?“ findest Du mein kleines Abenteuertagebuch und vielleicht auch die eine oder andere Inspiration, mal einen Blick über den Rand der eigenen Box zu wagen. Es ist beängstigend, das schon mal vorweg, aber auch very exciting! und verjüngend, wenn man gerne außerhalb der Komfortzone herumschnüffelt. Da finden sich jede Menge spannender Sachen.

Dear Black Sheep Family, i will try to translate my polished written outpourings for you. ;)) And I’ll try to make it on my own – and J., of course! you are invited to correct me…I hope you can enjoy my incredible english style…and N., you are invited to give me a feedback, if you can feel what i write ;)) – ( I’ve decided to keep you incognito, using only the initials of your names. I hope it’s ok for you…)

You two are the most gratifying phenomenon that happened  to me here in UK and i want to say you „Thank You!“ from the bottom of my heart. With you my being here becomes very precious.

I enjoy every minute we spend together, whether it’s J.’s lengthy lectures on the Indian gods or your (J.) main concern: „it’s organic?“ (thats, why the UK-Blog gots its name! ) or N.’s enthusiasm for the Irish biodynamic – organic community that you (N.) miss so much.

Under the category „It’s organic?“ you will find my notes, , which probably mainly report about you 😉 and my efforts to bring everything under one roof here, which feels like a big sweet mush. You know what I mean…

In order for it to be a good narrative, some details may not be presented entirely correctly, perhaps exaggerated or even left out. I hope you can overlook this…

A fresh start – again

Dear fellow travelers, in the midst of the chaos of the last year, I decided to try a whole new approach to bring more meaning back into my life. I applied to a company in England whose purpose of existence fits well with mine and whose product manufacture may know how to use my qualities and skills in such a way that together we can come a little closer to this purpose of existence.

I have been at this new place since December 31, 2021. He’s in a little small village in Lincolnshire in the Lincolnshire Wolds – incredibly beautiful and lovely landscape. Here pheasants, hares and foxes cross your path, the roads are lined with hawthorn hedges and the climate seems mild, even if it can be cold and windy.

It’s a wonderful place to try something new and to get involved with a different people with a different mentality and with new people whose language I’m really only able to speak in rudiments . (Of course, no one tells me that here. They, the English, are too polite, that’s why they say I speak fantastic – at least more fantastic than they German!)

And as it is, I’m kind of half-blind due to the language barrier and stumble over hurdles every day that I only notice after the collision and understand much later – if at all. Here the mills grind differently than in Germany and also much more slowly. In this blog under „It’s organic?“ you will find my little adventure diary and maybe one or the other inspiration to take a look over the edge of your own box. It’s scary, that’s for now, but also very exciting! and rejuvenating if you like to sniff around outside of your comfort zone. There’s a lot of exciting stuff there.
